Crew members from the Coast Guard Cutter Mellon, a high-endurance cutter based out of Seattle, offload bales of cocaine from a recent bust at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach, Dec. 5, 2014. The cutter was designed to perform each of the Coast Guard’s missions, which include search and rescue, defense operations, law enforcement and environmental protection.
