Aviation Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Luis R. De Jesus, assigned to the Battle Cats of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73, mount a hellfire missile to an MH-60R on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). Dewey is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
