Lance Cpls. Chad Morgan, left, and Shawn Smith race each other at St. Paul’s Elementary School in Pohang during a volunteer outing to the school. The goal was to support the local area outside of Camp Mujuk and build better community relations by interacting with the students. The group of volunteers consisted of Marines and sailors with 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, who are currently deployed to the Republic of Korea for Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-15. Both Smith and Morgan are riflemen with Company E, 2nd Bn., 9th Marines, currently assigned to 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
