A Singapore soldier uses a smart phone to demonstrate the Persistent Ground Surveillance System to a group of U.S. Marines and other Singapore soldiers during Exercise Valiant Mark, aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 19, 2014. In order to amplify its capabilities, the Singaporeans linked their technology to the PGSS, a camera placed on a blimp that enables the use of smart phones to track the enemy’s position while they move.
