Weapons used by Japanese and American forces during the Battle of Okinawa hang on display Dec.18 at the Camp Kinser Battle of Okinawa Historical Exhibit. Twenty-four local museum curators and employees visited the exhibit after they were surveyed by the U.S. Consulate General Naha and expressed interest in the exhibit. One of the consulate’s goals is to strengthen ties with the historical and cultural institutions on Okinawa, according to Dolores Prin, public affairs officer with the consulate.
