After completing the change of command ceremony, Maj. Donna Johnson, a native Columbus, Ohio, and 1st Sgt. Brian Stoops, a native of Butler, Pa., were awarded Bronze Star Medals for their actions during the Operation Iraqi Freedom 08-10. The leadership of the command team was vital in keeping the company focused during the 15 month deployment. Here both are congratulated before Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Swanson, a Perris, Calif., native, took the stage to personally thank the non-commissioned officers and Soldiers for their tireless efforts during the previous year.
