U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Ria Phillips, from Saint Croix, Virgin Islands, practices emergency medical response with Sgt. 1st Class Richard Griffin, from Columbus, Miss., during the U.S. Army Central Area Support Group Qatar Non-commissioned Officer of the Year selection process at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, May 11. Phillips, an ASG-QA intelligence analyst, was chosen to compete for top USARCENT honors in Kuwait next month. Soldier performance testing will include: weapons qualification, Army physical fitness, urban warfare orienteering, warrior task testing, as well as a 50-question multiple choice and written exam.
