The opening ceremony was well attended by the community, local dignitaries, and significant turn out from the local military communities; Mac Dill Air Force Base, Central Command and the Army Reserve Medical Command Headquarters and the Florida National Guard. Tampa International Airport now has a USO Welcome Center. This photographic tribute is traveling the United States in a multi-year tour; currently the exhibit can be viewed at the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts, Orange Park, Fla., until Feb. 14, 2015.
