Taj-Amir Torres, an athlete from Amherst Regional High School in River Ridge, Amherst, Mass., arrives at player check-in in Carson, Calif., on Dec. 30 for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fi All-American Bowl. “My biggest role model is my mother. She is the strongest person in my life and the reason I succeed,” said Torres. Selection for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a badge of honor and gives the opportunity to reward commitment to academic excellence and community leadership. The bowl will be nationally televised live from The StubHub Center in Carson at 6 p.m (PST) on January 4, 2015, on Fox Sports 1.
