Blake Brandel, a left tackle from Central Catholic High School in Portland, Ore., arrives at player check in Carson, Calif. on Dec 30 for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fi All-American Bowl. “My plan for the bowl is to learn a lot about football; listen to great speakers and see how I stack up against the other players,” said Brandel. Selection for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a badge of honor and gives the opportunity to reward commitment to academic excellence and community leadership. The bowl will be nationally televised live from The StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., at 6 p.m (PST) on January 4, 2015 on Fox Sports 1.
