Seaman Julio Rodriguez (from Chicago, Ill.), uses an anchor wrench to rouse the riding stopper, a countermeasure used to make sure the anchor stay in place, during a sea and anchor exercise aboard forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard's crew is currently making preparations to get underway and continue the ship's mission to support the Chief of Naval Operations three tenets: Warfighting First, Operate Forward and Be Ready.
