1st Lt. William Keller, 2nd Law Enforcement Detachment Commander, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and native of Erie, Pa., fires an M9 pistol from the seven meter line during an improved pistol course for qualifications at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan 7, 2015. More than 90 Marines fired 9 mm ball rounds down range at targets that resembled a more accurate version of an enemy during the revamped pistol course, which improves Marines’ confidence with the weapon and builds upon mechanical checks of the pistol.
