Marines with Headquarters and Service Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, practice radio commands that were taught during the Basic Radio Operators Course portion of the Required Operational Combat Exercise at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., April 30. From this portion of the ROCEX, Marines can learn the basic skills and understand the phrases that are necessary to conduct radio operations in the proper fashion while being safe and combat effective at all times.
