Jorge Lugo (left) assigned to Company C, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, and Iraqi army Sgt. 1st Class Saad Jafar Kareem, from Headquarters, 6th Iraqi army division, pull apart a fiber optic cable so Kareem can practice repairing broken cables on May 13. Lugo, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, said Kareem was a fast learner and demonstrated proficiency with repairing fiber optic cables.
