20 October 2004 Baghdad, Iraq - The accused Staff Sgt. Ivan L. Frederick II enters a plea of guilty to a number of charges stemming from his participation and failure to prevent or report the abuse of detainees while he was the Non Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of prison guards working the night shift at the Abu Ghraib prison. As part of his guilty plea Frederick was required to explain in detail why he felt he was guilty of the crimes for which he was accused.
