A Pakistani father carries his son to an MH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter to be evacuated to Islamabad where he can be treated for his injuries. Two MH-53 helicopters form the Helicopter Mine Countermeasure Squadron 15 (HM-15) Bahrain detachment made the three-day flight to northern Pakistan to assist in the relief efforts in progress. The United States government is participating in a multinational humanitarian assistance and support effort led by the Pakistani government to bring aid to victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the region Oct. 8, 2005.
