Volunteers braved rainy and cold weather to help with a massive cleanup effort at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday. More than 230,000 wreaths were cleared from every headstone throughout all 624 acres of Arlington. In this image, Virginia Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, volunteers in Section 60. Wreaths were placed at every headstone commemorating ANC's 150th anniversary. The Wreaths Across America wreaths, placed in December, honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's heroes.
