Sailors assigned to the air department of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz guide an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Sidewinders" of Strike Fighter Squadron 86 onto a catapult aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. Nimitz and Carrier Air Wing 11 are conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise off the coast of Southern California in preparation for a scheduled deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
