Staff Sgt. Jeff Azores, a U.S. Army Reserve Soldier from Santa Maria, Calif., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 425th Civil Affairs Battalion, 364th CA Brigade, turns a pig on a spit, May 22. Two pigs were roasted over an open fire and two were cooked in the emu fashion -slow-cooked in the ground in preparation for an Asian Pacific American Heritage Month celebration. "This is my first time doing something like this; I wanted to try to participate and help in any way I can," Azores said.
