Ralph Amaya, master gunner for the 56th IBCT, during an award ceremony, May 23. This award of the CIB was the second for Amaya, a married father from Killeen, Texas. Amaya first earned the CIB while serving with 1st Squadron 5th Cavalry Regiment of the 1st Cav. Div. during Desert Storm.
