Vehicles operated by Marines with second platoon, Motor Transportation Company, maintain safe dispersion during a combat logistics patrol enroute to Forward Operating Base Now Zad, Helmand province, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, March 6. Second platoon is assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 3, the logistics combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan whose mission is to conduct counterinsurgency operations, and train and mentor the Afghan national police.
