A U.S. Navy landing signal officer helps the members of the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment land a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during deck landing qualifications off the coast of Honduras, Feb. 1, 2015. The 1-228th Avn. Reg. aircrew participated in deck landing qualifications on board the USS Kauffman to qualify pilots and crew chiefs on shipboard operations. Kauffman is on its final scheduled deployment to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility supporting multinational, counter-narcotics operation known as Operation Martillo.
