Service members deployed in support of Operation United Assistance go through out-processing and prepare for departure from Roberts International Airport outside of Monrovia, Liberia, Feb. 3, 2015. This is the second flight of service members this month. Upon arriving in the U.S., all troops will go through 21 days of controlled monitoring at one of the controlled monitoring areas in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Joint Base Eustis-Langley, Va., Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Bliss, Texas. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
