Petty Officer 1st Class Nick Craig, a hospital corpsman, reluctantly says goodbye to his wife Amanda and two kids Jade and Nick Junior on the pier before boarding the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) for deployment. This is Craig's first deployment with the Reagan, but he has been seperated from his family while deployed in Iraq. Ronald Reagan is underway on a routine deployment to the Western Pacific.
