Marines with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, perform low-level static line jumps from the back of a KC-130J Hercules during a parachute training exercise aboard Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, Jan. 29. The battalion conducted a three-day training exercise to refresh their parachuting skills and to get their new Marines accustomed to the low-level static line parachute used by the Marine Corps. Marines performed two different types of jumps; low-level static line, with and without equipment, and High Altitude Low Opening free-fall jumps. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Austin Long)
