Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno is briefed on Army dive operations from 7th Dive Detachment, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, Feb. 12 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The 7th EDD is the only Army dive element in the Pacific, and it performs underwater reconnaissance, demolition and salvage missions supporting joint, interagency, intergovernmental, multinational operations across the region.
