Lt. Col. Patrick Daniel, Special Troops Battalion commander, and Lt. Col. Bradley White, Brigade Support Battalion commander, with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, unveil the memorial plaque of Sgt. Douglass Bull at a dedication ceremony at Forward Operating Base Fenty in northeastern Afghanistan on May 25. The DFAC was dedicated to Bull, who died in action on July 8, 2008. He was the first 3-1 Soldier to be killed in Operation Enduring Freedom IX.
