Engineers from the 379th Engineer Company, Horizontal, Massachusetts National Guard, assist the local department of public works and Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority officials clear the parking lot a walk ways of the Bellevue Commuter Rail train station, here Feb. 16, 2015. The 379th, along with more than 500 other Soldiers from the Massachusetts National Guard, have been activated in response to the historic levels of snowfall that has happened in Massachusetts. The 379th Engineer Company, is the only horizontal engineer company in the state, which gives them the unique ability to greatly assist local officials with snow removal in order to help ensure public safety.
