Soldiers from the 411th Engineer Company, Iowa City, work through the night constructin a landing strip at the Fort Irwin National Training Center in California. The project, headed by the 389th Engineer Battalion, will provide NTC with two, 8,000 square foot runways and a 1,000 square foot apron which will allow C-130s and C-17s to land on Irwin.
