Spc. Brandon Jewell, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and Airman 1st Class Brian Bone, 506th Expeditionary Communications Squadron ground radio technician, fold the flag during a retreat ceremony here May 25. The ceremony was held on Memorial Day in honor of the 51 Airmen and Soldiers who died while serving in the Kirkuk area of operations. Airman Bone, a San Diego, Calif., native was a member of the joint-service flag detail and is deployed here from Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. Spc. Jewell is deployed out of Fort Hood, Texas.
