Sailors in the U.S. Navy color guard present the flags of the United States, Japan and the Navy opening the III Marine Expeditionary Force Sailor of the Year ceremony at the Ocean Breeze Club on Camp Foster Jan. 22. Sailors from 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, 3rd Marine Logistics Group and 3rd Marine Division were selected as nominees for the III MEF Sailor of the Year Award. The sailors were selected based on their performance in and out of uniform, and efforts put forth in advancing their education to assist fellow service members.
