Lt. Col. Phillip Stewart, 362nd Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron commander, salutes Col. Michael Fantini, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group commander, upon assuming command of the 362nd ERS, June 9. The squadron was activated to conduct MC-12 operations. The MC-12 is a medium-altitude manned special-mission turboprop aircraft designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Col. Stewart is deployed here from Langley Air Force Base, Va., and is a native of Silver Spring, Md. Col. Fantini is deployed here from Headquarters Air Force, the Pentagon, and is a native of Annandale, Va.
