Command Sgt. Maj. Kelvin Hughes, 41st Fires Bde., congratulates Spc. Nathan Alford, of Weatherford, Texas, a member of the brigade's command group personal security team, upon Alford's reciept of the Guardian Award, June 5, at the Forward Operating Base Delta Morale, Welfare and Recreation Stage. The award, given by the U.S. Army Safety Center, was for Alford's quick actions saving a young mother and her baby after their car rolled over.
