U.S. Marines from 12th Marine Regiment displayed eight different vehicles and over 10 weapons, for more than 300 JSDF Officer Candidates. Satoshi, from Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, is a member of the Japan Observer Exchange Program. JOEP provides opportunities for III Marine Expeditionary Force Marines and JSDF personnel to observe training of their counterparts in order to increase mutual understanding and interoperability.
