Staff Sgt. Brian Dawson of Winston Salem, N.C., brings up the rear of an Iraqi army-led patrol, south of Baghdad, June 9. Dawson, a section chief with Battery B, 113th Field Artillery Regiment, 30th Brigade Combat Team, and a small team of fellow Btry. B Soldiers joined a large group of troops from the 1st Battalion, 55th Brigade, 17th Iraqi army Division, while on a mission to clear a village in their area of operations.
