(Feb. 25, 2015) – Logistics Specialist 1st Class Vincent Miller briefs attendees of the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and U.S. 4th Fleet Black History Month Luncheon on the story of Master Chief Petty Officer Carl Brashear, a celebrated African-American Sailor whose personal initiative and accomplishments are unparalleled. Members of USNAVSO attended the Luncheon, hosted by the 4th Fleet White Hat Association, Feb. 25, to commemorate and recognize famous African-Americans for their contributions to United States history.
