Brig. Gen. Randy A. George, deputy commanding general, 4th Infantry Division, visits Iron Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Tapa, Estonia, March 1, 2015. During his time with Iron Troop, Brig. Gen. George toured the facilities and received a brief about 2CR’s current mission, Operation Atlantic Resolve, from Iron Troop Commander, Cpt. James Gibbs. Operation Atlantic Resolve currently has 2 CR Troopers deployed to training locations in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to train with host nation forces in order to assure Allies of U.S. resolve and improve Allied interoperability.
