PACIFIC OCEAN (March 2, 2015) Aviation Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Conner Rethwill drives a Marine MV-22B Osprey into position on the flight deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is currently underway conducting a PHIBRON/MEU Integration (PMINT) training exercise with Amphibious Squadron THREE and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
