World War II Coast Guard veteran Carroll George, 95, waits for the Feb. 19, 2015, wreath-laying ceremony to honor those who died and served during the Battle of Iwo Jima. The wreath-laying took place at the Marine Corps War Memorial on the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the South Pacific battle.
