A Talon robot cools down from the heat of hands-on counter-IED training at Ft. Polk's Joint Readiness Training Center on June 12. Soldiers from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division spent the day familiarizing themselves with the remote controlled reconnaissance robot used for the detection, investigation and destruction of IEDs.
