Maj. Gen. Bruce T. Crawford, commander of U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, and Command Sgt. Maj. William G. Bruns, CECOM, met with Col. Jimmy L. Hall Jr., commander of 5th Signal Command, Command Sgt. Maj. Harry Mercado, 5th Signal Command, and other staff and leaders for a command information briefing March 9, 2015 at the 5th Signal Command headquarters building on Clay Kaserne. Crawford emphasized the need for greater operator-level training and maintenance on C4ISR equipment throughout the Army, and sought input on ways CECOM can support interoperability with other services and our allies in Europe. Speaking on the growing importance and focus on the European theater, Crawford said, “Getting this right, supporting you all, is important because everyone is watching.”
