Carson, Colo., and a native of Westminster Colo., currently deployed as part of Kosovo Forces 19, dives into the pool as she participates in the the swim portion of the German Armed Forces Badge at a swimming pool in Skopje, former Yugoslavia Republic of Macedonia, March 8. The four events the Soldiers must complete to earn the badge are the foot march, the 100-meter swim, the German physical fitness test and the German pistol qualification.
