Terry Lerma, Naval Hospital Bremerton Emergency Preparedness coordinator, shares with staff members on proper protocol and procedures during mock drill scenarios as part of the continual training for all hands to be able to respond to any type of emergent situation from humanitarian assistance to disaster relief. For his efforts in the community and at his command, Lerma was recognized as South Kitsap Fire and Rescue's Volunteer Officer of the Year for 2014 (second consecutive year) and NHB's Senior Civilian of the Year.
