Airman 1st Class Anthony Montano, demonstrates that the shear power of the jaws of life when cutter blades are attached. the blades did not hesitate when slicing through metal hood, during a visit by representatives of Kyrgyz Republic emergency responders on 18 March 2006. Previously, Manas Air Base representatives of emergency responders were invited and attended a demonstration of Bishkek metropolitan area emergency response units in the Kyrgyz Republic. Airman 1st Class Montano, an Arlington, Washington native, is deployed to the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron, Manas Air Base, Kyrgyz Republic, and assigned to the 22nd Civil Engineering Squadron, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas.
