ATLANTIC OCEAN (Mar. 12, 2014) – An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the Knighthawks of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 136, prepares to launch from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is part of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group (TRCSG), which is composed of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60), and the guided-missile destroyers USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) and USS Farragut (DDG 90) and USS Winston S.
