150314-N-RU971-178 EAST CHINA SEA (March 14, 2015) – Rear Admiral Hugh Wetherald, commander, Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, talks with Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Michael Nelson, from Chicago, during a visit to the aft main machinery room of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently conducting an Amphibious Integration Training (AIT) exercise.
