William Rockefeller III (front center), commander, 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment “Thunder Horse,” 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, shares his gratitude and bids farewell to members of Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) of the Canadian Army during a leader round-up March 12 in Killeen, Texas. During the two-week training, both units operated the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle and M1 Abrams Tank simulators. The simulation included movement to contact and wide-area security missions.
