David Mounsey, 82nd Training Wing fire chief, congratulates Robert Thompson, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, assistant chief of hazardous materials health and safety, after a panel of 10 board members from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International approved the accreditation of Sheppard Fire Department at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center near Orlando, Fla., March 15, 2015. During the hearing, Sheppard earned accreditation and joined 201 other fire departments who’ve earned the distinction.
