JABOURI PENINSULA, Iraq (March 30, 2006) -- Staff Sgt. Joshua Swanson, a squad leader with Co. A, 1st Bn., 8th Infantry Regiment (Mechanized), probes for weapons buried in an orchard on the Jabouri Peninsula. Soldiers from Company A, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment (Mechanized), made these finds during Operation Cowpens. They serve with 3rd Heavy Brigade Heavy Team, 4th Infantry Division.
