U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Ben Dykes, 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle mechanic, detaches one end of a main de-icing line on a Global De-Icer, March 19, 2015. The hose is approximately 40 feet long, and 1,000 gallons of fluid had to be drained from the vehicle before detaching the hose. The de-icer is the only vehicle on base with the capability to de-ice the planes, making it mission critical during the winter. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Megan E. Acs/Released)
